Why does India perform poorly in Olympic Games?

India has been performing consistently in Oympic Games – Consistently poor. Other than some individual medals due to capability of the individual more than the state/country, India’s performance has been pathetic. The reasons are not hard to find. One of the major problem is good sports infrastructure. How many of you have access to a sports ground? How many of those sports ground are maintained properly? Is the sports ground big enough for all the people who come to play? Other than few lucky people, many will surely agree there is no safe play ground nearby. But, there is a big need from parents for their children to play in a friendly environment. To fulfill this demand, you can open an indoor sports arena.
